Hello!
I’m a reporter on The Baltimore Sun’s emerging news desk. I mainly cover criminal justice, infrastructure, the judiciary and state + local government.
I’ve been covering Maryland full time for five years. Recently, I’ve covered the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse from several different angles including regular updates on how crews swiftly cleared the wreckage as well as officials’ plans for rebuilding it. I covered the aftermath of the Brooklyn Day mass shooting, finding audio indicating that Baltimore Police officers had shrugged off warnings before gunfire erupted most widespread act of gun violence in recent Baltimore history. I’ve also written concert reviews, broken down complex topics like genetic privacy, sought answers about firearms and domestic abuse, and continuously strive to put faces to the names of those lost to violence in the Baltimore area.
I previously worked as an editor for The Dundalk Eagle and as a staff reporter for both The Capital and Southern Maryland News. I graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2019 with a major in public policy studies.
